Three years later, it seems to be more about her mother than it is about the girl.
Today Casey Anthony, Caylee’s mother, was acquitted of murder and child abuse in the little girl’s death. This trial has sensationalized something that is not sensational. If half the items reported by the defense during the trial are true then this is nothing but a sad expose of a very dysfunctional family. But it is not something we should be oggling all over the news.
The comments that have been made all over the internet after the announcement of Casey Anthony’s acquittal really show just how desperate people are to find slop anywhere they can. A little girl died and her family has to go on living after years of being drug through the mud. Slop indeed.
